Our walls were finally finished at the end of last week. We are supposed to get the painters started tomorrow (Tuesday). The walls look great and really help make the house look more like a house.

Progress Continues
There hasn’t been much to picture lately, but the progress does continue, albeit slowly. The drywall hanging was completed followed by the preliminary mud application and then the 1st regular mud application. The drying of the walls
Our drywall arrived yesterday, and today they started installing. It looks like they got about halfway done. It really looks different with actual walls up!
We got a Roof!
It’s been a busy couple of weeks on the house, and I’ve been a bit delayed in posting. We got a roof finally, all shingled and everything. We also got our kitchen door installed. And also the insulation!
Update on Swallow Babies
The 2 barn swallow babies are bigger and flying around almost like pros. No pictures. They’re much harder to picture now that they’re flying! More progress
Finally, we’ve got our patio overhang put together, for the most part. We also got the office door installed. The plan for tomorrow is to install the kitchen door and start putting on the shingles. I think.
Friday Deliveries
Today we got our shingles and our outside doors! Yay!
In the Meantime….
We have had a pair of barn swallows nesting in the new barn. They laid eggs and had babies. Then, apparently the babies tried to fledge a bit too soon. Finally, a Patio
It’s been a very slow few weeks. Small things have happened but nothing very interesting or picture-worthy. The weather has not been our friend lately.
